JSA Advocates & Solicitors represented client IndiGrid in relation to its acquisition of Gadag Transmission Limited from ReNew Transmission Ventures Private Limited and KNI India AS. IndiGrid has executed definitive agreements to acquire Gadag Transmission Limited for ₹372 crore. The transaction involves the purchase of the project company that owns and operates the transmission assets. Gadag Transmission is a Build-Own-Operate-Maintain (BOOM) Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) project located in Karnataka. Operational since September 2024, the project comprises approximately 187 circuit kilometres of transmission lines and 1,000 MVA of transformation capacity.
