PLUTA Restructuring Expert Ilkin Bananyarli Launches Investor Search for Automotive Supplier Teknia Stuttgart GmbH

"PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, with provisional administrator Ilkin Bananyarli, has initiated a structured investor search for Teknia Stuttgart GmbH following the company’s insolvency filing and the Local Court of Rottweil’s appointment of provisional administration. SGP Schneider Geiwitz Corporate Finance has been commissioned to manage the M&A process. Teknia remains operational, with ~100 employees and salaries secured for three months."

PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, acting for provisional administrator Ilkin Bananyarli on behalf of Teknia Stuttgart GmbH, and SGP Schneider Geiwitz Corporate Finance, commissioned to manage the M&A process, were the principal advisers engaged in the matter. On 20 November 2025 the Local Court of Rottweil ordered provisional insolvency administration for the assets of Teknia Stuttgart GmbH and appointed Mr Ilkin Bananyarli as provisional administrator. Attorney Ilkin Bananyarli has initiated a structured process to find an investor for the Mahlstetten-based automotive supplier. He is being supported in the proceedings by business lawyer Franco W. Caputo. Teknia Stuttgart GmbH specialises in high-precision chassis and steering components for the automotive industry. Core products include push rods, structural and functional components such as anchor guides, solenoid housings and valve bodies. The company operates as a one-stop shop for high-end manufacturing, offering complex metalworking and advanced CNC machining, series-production quality assurance and downstream surface and heat treatments. The insolvency filing follows liquidity shortfalls caused by a difficult market environment in the automotive sector, with a decline in orders and lower-than-expected call-off figures. The business remains fully operational and ongoing orders are being processed as usual. The company has around 100 employees; their salaries are guaranteed for a period of three months by substitute benefits under German insolvency law. Customers and suppliers have held candid discussions with the team and are supportive of efforts to continue operations. The provisional insolvency administrator has commissioned SGP Schneider Geiwitz Corporate Finance to run a structured M&A process aimed at securing a suitable partner or investor for the German company. Teknia Stuttgart GmbH is part of the international Teknia Group, headquartered in Spain. Founded in 1992, the group has production facilities in twelve countries. The insolvency application relates exclusively to the German subsidiary. PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH represented client Teknia Stuttgart GmbH with a team composed by: Ilkin Bananyarli (provisional insolvency administrator) and Franco W. Caputo (business lawyer). SGP Schneider Geiwitz Corporate Finance was commissioned by the provisional insolvency administrator to conduct the structured M&A process.
