GÖRG Donates €10,000 to Two Social Projects at Christmas

"GÖRG donated €10,000 to the Diakonisches Werk’s Lilith Frauenhaus and the 17‑Ost Tagestreff in Frankfurt and Offenbach to support emergency shelter and drop‑in services for women. The gift continues the firm’s annual Christmas tradition of office‑selected beneficiaries and was presented in December to Shiva Shafahi and Sarah Krämer."

GÖRG has donated €10,000 to support the Diakonisches Werk’s ‘Lilith Frauenhaus’ and the ‘17‑Ost Tagestreff für Frauen’ in the Frankfurt‑Offenbach region. The donation is intended to support two local institutions that provide protection, refuge and comprehensive assistance to women in acute emergencies. The ‘Lilith Frauenhaus’ serves as a transitional residence for women aged 18 and over who find themselves in crisis or emergency situations. Residents live in small group units and receive safe accommodation, social‑educational support, assistance in securing long‑term housing and psychosocial counselling, with the objective of stabilising residents and enabling independent, self‑determined lives. The ‘17‑Ost Tagestreff’ is a drop‑in centre for women facing difficult life and housing situations. It offers a safe space to rest and connect, and provides practical services including an open café area, showers, laundry facilities, lockers and a study with internet access. The centre also offers educational and prevention programmes. The donation continues GÖRG’s annual Christmas tradition in which employees from one of the firm’s five offices take turns selecting social projects to receive the partnership’s principal Christmas gift. This year Frankfurt was the first office to be featured. The local team coordinated the selection and presented the donations in December to Shiva Shafahi, head of the women’s shelter, and Sarah Krämer, responsible for fundraising and foundation management. "With our Christmas donation this year, we are supporting two organisations that offer women in challenging life situations protection, guidance and new perspectives," said Dr Marcus Richter, Managing Partner at GÖRG. "Both the ‘Lilith Frauenhaus’ and the ‘17‑Ost Tagestreff’ offer essential support, which is not always easy and often goes unseen. They help women in acute emergencies and open up paths toward greater stability and confidence. We hope that our donation will make a difference for the women affected, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved in these two projects." GÖRG represented the Diakonisches Werk in Frankfurt and Offenbach, assisting the 'Lilith Frauenhaus' and the '17‑Ost Tagestreff' with a team composed by: Dr Marcus Richter (Managing Partner); Patrick Wambold; Natalie Kübler; Alexander Pustal.
