Noerr advised Exus Renewables on the acquisition of a 69 MW wind portfolio from Deutsche WindXperts. The portfolio comprises four wind farms under development in North Rhine-Westphalia and offers potential for capacity expansion. The acquisition represents Exus Renewables' first owned wind project in Germany after several years of delivering third-party asset management services, and is a strategically significant step in broadening the company's presence and asset base across key European renewable energy markets with long-term decarbonisation commitments. Construction is scheduled to commence in 2026, with commercial operation anticipated in 2028.
