Freshfields advises Altor on acquisition of majority stake in Evac

"Freshfields advised Altor (Altor Fund VI and Altor ACT I) on its acquisition of a majority stake in Evac Holding Oy from Bridgepoint. Finnish firm Krogerus acted as lead legal adviser. Evac, a global cleantech provider headquartered in Espoo, will see management reinvest alongside Altor to support further growth."

Global law firm Freshfields advised Altor (Altor Fund VI and Altor ACT I) on its acquisition of a majority stake in Evac Holding Oy, while Finnish law firm Krogerus served as lead legal adviser on the transaction. The transaction concerns the purchase of a majority stake in Evac Holding Oy from Bridgepoint. Evac, founded in 1979 and headquartered in Espoo, Finland, is a global provider of end-to-end cleantech solutions for marine, offshore and land-based industries. The company specialises in mission-critical water and waste management and vessel protection systems and serves cruise operators, navies, merchant fleets, yachts and other marine and land-based customers across more than 70 countries. Evac employs approximately 550 people and maintains a global service network. Evac’s management will reinvest alongside Altor. Altor has stated it will work closely with Evac’s management to support the company’s growth ambitions across segments and products.
