Osborne Clarke Advises Halma plc on £230m Acquisition of E2S to Strengthen Safety Technology Portfolio

Osborne Clarke and Nixon Peabody LLP advised Halma plc on its £230 million acquisition of UK-based E2S. The transaction sees Halma acquire E2S, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance notification and detection devices, for £230m. E2S supplies critical safety solutions for hazardous industrial environments, including oil and gas, renewable energy and power. The acquisition broadens Halma’s portfolio of life‑saving technologies within its Safety Sector and supports Halma’s strategy of investing in growing markets that protect human life. E2S will operate as a standalone company under its existing management, extending Halma’s reach in stringent global safety markets.
