Knights Advises WTR Group on Acquisition of Hydromarque Group Ltd

WTR Group has acquired Hydromarque Group Ltd. WTR, a leading supplier of technical products, services and solutions for the Northern European water and wastewater transportation sector, announced the purchase of Peterborough‑based Hydromarque, founded in 1987. Hydromarque is the exclusive UK distributor for Gorman‑Rupp and Cornell pumps and has built a market‑leading reputation for complete pumping solutions across wastewater, clean water, food processing and other industrial applications. WTR Group’s CEO, Khashayar Nikavar, said that Hydromarque’s technical expertise, strong supplier partnerships and long‑standing sector relationships make the acquisition a strong strategic fit and that the companies will work closely to accelerate joint growth in the UK and Northern Europe. Knights partner Gareth Burge commented that the firm was pleased to continue its relationship with WTR Group and to have advised on the deal, WTR’s third in the UK in the last 18 months, and that the specialist team worked to ensure a seamless process.
