NKF Advises Banking Syndicate on Credit Facilities for SGH2

"Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised JPMorgan Chase Bank as administrative agent and other members of the banking syndicate, with GLAS acting as collateral agent, on a financing package for SGH2, the Scenic group's finance subsidiary. The facilities comprise a USD 535 million term loan, a EUR 200 million term loan and a USD 90 million multicurrency revolving credit facility."

Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised JPMorgan Chase Bank in its capacity as administrative agent and the other members of the banking syndicate; GLAS acted as collateral agent in the transaction. The banking syndicate provided a financing package to SGH2, a finance subsidiary of the Scenic group, consisting of a USD 535 million term loan, a EUR 200 million term loan and a USD 90 million multicurrency revolving credit facility. The Scenic group, founded in 1986 by Australian entrepreneur Glen Moroney, is a global luxury cruises and tours operator. Niederer Kraft Frey represented JPMorgan Chase Bank (as administrative agent) and the other members of the banking syndicate with a team composed by: transaction partners Adrian Koller and Philip Spoerlé, associate Carlotta Ulmer, junior associates Caterina Moor, Barbara Bürgi, Janyar Assa’d and Robin Brändli (transactions), and partner Markus Kronauer (tax). GLAS acted as collateral agent in the transaction.
