Dentons Advises PKD on Acquisition of Vollert Anlagenbau's Heavy Duty Solutions Business

Dentons represented PKD, the Czech industrial holding that forms part of the JLF Group of the Falbr family, in its acquisition of the Heavy Duty Solutions business from insolvent German engineering company Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH; the sale was carried out by insolvency administrator Marc-Philippe Hornung. The sale of the Heavy Duty Solutions business — Vollert's largest business unit — is a central element of the insolvent company's broader restructuring. The transaction will enhance vertical integration of the Heavy Duty Solutions operations and integrate Vollert's Weinsberg site in the southern German state of Baden-Württemberg into PKD's international production network. The Vollert Heavy Duty Solutions business will continue to operate under its name and will be managed by family member Hans-Jörg Vollert. As part of the transaction, PKD will also acquire 90% of Brazilian subsidiary Vollert do Brasil to expand service and sales activities in South America. The transaction was signed on 1 December 2025. Closing is envisaged to take place in January 2026.
