MAQS Becomes Corporate Partner of Angel House in Stockholm

MAQS Law Firm acted for MAQS in connection with MAQS becoming a Corporate Partner of Angel House, the Stockholm meeting venue and members’ club for investors and business angels. The transaction involves MAQS entering into a corporate partnership with Angel House, an initiative led by investors and entrepreneurs Ash Pournouri and Andreas Grape, who run the business angel network Nordic Angels. Together with Lisa Grape, they have launched Angel House to complement Nordic Angels’ digital platform with a physical meeting space where investors and business angels can meet in person, exchange ideas and build long-term relationships. Lisa Grape, CEO of Angel House, said that the venue was created in response to demand within their network for an in-person meeting place and that they were pleased to welcome partners to strengthen the network. MAQS highlighted that its Startup and Venture Capital team has extensive experience working with investors, entrepreneurs and fast-growing companies and that collaborations and physical meeting places are important for allowing new ideas to be born and developed. Angel House opened on 27 October and is located at Jakobsbergsgatan 27 in Stockholm.
