Luther Advises on Reorganisation of Healthcare Services in the Verden District

Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH advised the district of Verden in the reorganisation and sale of its care facilities to Aller-Weser-Klinik gGmbH. The transaction involved transferring the district's care facilities into a separate company to secure economic and organisational independence and subsequently selling that company to Aller-Weser-Klinik gGmbH. Aller-Weser-Klinik gGmbH will continue to operate the care centres and integrate them into its existing service offering as part of an integrated healthcare and care concept aimed at ensuring their future viability. The project required close coordination with pension providers including the Federal and State Pension Institution (VBL), the local government supervisory authority and the relevant tax office.
