Blank Rome Advises Beaulieu International Group on Strategic Acquisition of Congoleum Flooring

Blank Rome represented Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) in its acquisition of Congoleum Acquisition LLC (dba Congoleum Flooring). The transaction closed on November 14, 2025. The acquisition was effected through New Congol LLC, a subsidiary of Beaulieu International Group, by which B.I.G. acquired the assets of Congoleum Acquisition LLC. The deal advances B.I.G.’s growth strategy in North America by expanding product capabilities, increasing manufacturing capacity and extending customer reach. Congoleum Flooring, founded in 1886 and headquartered in Mercerville, New Jersey, is a respected U.S. manufacturer of resilient flooring. The company operates production facilities in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, and Cedarhurst, Maryland, and employs approximately 270 people. Congoleum is particularly recognized for pioneering innovations in resilient vinyl flooring for the residential market.
