Scotto Partners Advises Matawan Management on LBO alongside Antin Infrastructure Partners

Scotto Partners advised the management of Matawan in connection with the company’s leveraged buyout led by Antin Infrastructure Partners, which acquired a majority stake in the group. The transaction concerns Matawan, a French pioneer in connected mobility founded in 2012 (formerly Ubitransport). The scale-up specialises in the digitalisation and optimisation of public transport networks through a SaaS platform that enables authorities and operators to manage operations, monitoring and performance in real time. Matawan currently employs nearly 250 people and deploys its solutions across more than 330 transport networks in six countries. Antin Infrastructure Partners’ entry into the capital is expected to accelerate Matawan’s international development, notably in Southern Europe and North America. Scotto Partners represented the management of Matawan with a team composed by: Jérôme Commerçon (partner), Alban Tourneux (counsel, employment law) and Thibaut Sitoleux. The firm assisted the management in negotiating the deal and structuring the operation, advising on legal, tax and financing aspects.
