Moncey Avocats and Legalps Avocats advised Leman Industrie Group on a transaction involving a minority investment by For Talents and the acquisition of Metalis Group. The transaction saw Leman Industrie, a recognised producer of metal, plastic, metalloplastic and mechatronic parts and sub-assemblies, acquire Metalis Group, a specialist in the manufacture of high-precision metallic and metalloplastic components. For Talents, a family-backed investment company, took a minority stake in Leman Industrie alongside the Bontaz family to facilitate the operation and accelerate the transfer of the family business from the second to the third generation. Metalis Group is specialised in complex stamping, metalloplastic overmoulding, flat-spring manufacture and precision assembly, serving strategic sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence, energy, medical and industrial equipment, with a presence in Europe, Asia and North America. The acquisition strengthens Leman Industrie Group's industrial capabilities, broadens its technological portfolio and accelerates its international expansion. The combined group will generate approximately €300 million in revenue, employ more than 2,000 people across 14 sites in 10 countries, and concentrate on four strategic markets: energy, mobility, aerospace and defence. Moncey Avocats represented Leman Industrie Group with a team composed by: Guillaume Giuliani and Marie-Victoire James, partners; Valentin Lefebvre, counsel; Bonnie Brenier, Vianney Birot, Pénélope Renard and Clara Berland, lawyers, on corporate matters; Jonathan Devillard, counsel, Hélène Tazé and Inès Ourabi, lawyers, on financing matters; Frédéric Bosc, partner, Loïc Pipaud and Mathilde Cotillon, lawyers, on tax matters; and Camille Cournot, partner, together with Alexandra Fabbro, lawyer, on employment law.
