Sorainen Advises BlockBen on Securing MiCA Crypto-Asset Service Provider Licence in Latvia

"Sorainen advised BlockBen on securing a crypto-asset service provider licence under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) in Latvia. The licence authorises custody and administration, exchange, placing and transfer services and becomes effective EU-wide upon passporting. BlockBen is part of a multinational group active in Hungary and the Baltics, focusing on issuance and offering of crypto-asset tokens."

Sorainen advised BlockBen on obtaining a crypto-asset service provider licence under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) in Latvia. The licence authorises BlockBen to provide crypto-asset custody and administration, exchange, placing and transfer services. BlockBen, part of a multinational group active in Hungary and across the Baltics, focuses on the issuance and offering of crypto-asset tokens, including in cooperation with partner companies. The authorisation granted in Latvia will become effective across the EU upon passporting.
