The lenders provided a EUR 54 million financing package to support the development of a renewable energy project near Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria. The financing is intended to advance Bulgaria’s broader objectives to expand clean energy capacity and strengthen grid stabilisation. The project combines a 65.15-megawatt photovoltaic plant with a 130-megawatt-hour battery energy storage system, delivering both generation and storage capacity to support system flexibility and reliability.
