Bird & Bird announces partnership with Betty Blocks for vibe-coding low-code app development

Law firm Bird & Bird announced a partnership with Betty Blocks, assisting its Legal Tech and Innovation function in integrating the platform into the firm’s ecosystem of technology solutions. The transaction expands Bird & Bird’s in-house ecosystem of tech solutions, which the firm selects or develops to meet client needs and address concrete problems rather than adopting technology indiscriminately. Under the partnership, Bird & Bird will deploy Betty Blocks’ application development platform, which uses so-called vibe-coding — AI-assisted development that translates natural language prompts into working applications in minutes. Rather than relying on lengthy development cycles and programming skills, users describe their intent in natural language and the platform generates a working application complete with layouts, themes and Bird & Bird–branded components. The Betty Blocks platform also contains governance frameworks, role-based access controls and security standards that align with Bird & Bird’s requirements for enterprise deployment, enabling rapid prototyping while maintaining enterprise-level governance and security.
