Latham & Watkins represented 7AI in its US$130 million Series A financing, which was led by Index Ventures and included participation from new investor Blackstone Innovations Investments as well as existing investors. The financing round, announced 10 months after 7AI launched from stealth in February 2025, raised US$130 million and brings the company’s total funding to US$166 million. The round included participation from Greylock, CRV, Spark and all other existing seed investors. The transaction is described as the largest cybersecurity Series A in history. Shardul Shah, Partner at Index Ventures, will join 7AI’s board of directors. Latham & Watkins represented 7AI with a team composed by: Boston partner Dan Hoffman (Emerging Companies & Growth) and associates Michael Bevilacqua and Maayan Chinn (Emerging Companies & Growth); associate Deborah Hinck (intellectual property); and Washington, D.C. counsels Ruchi Gill and Aaron Amundson (regulatory).
