Latham & Watkins Advises CVC and Domestic & General on Sale to Asurion

Latham & Watkins advised CVC and its portfolio company Domestic & General on the sale of Domestic & General to Asurion. The transaction will transfer ownership of Domestic & General, one of the largest appliance care providers across the UK and Europe, to Asurion, a global leader in technology care, support and protection. The parties noted that the businesses bring together highly complementary models and expertise with minimal overlap in geography or operations. The transaction is expected to close in 2026 subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Upon closing, Domestic & General will continue to operate under its brand as a business unit of Asurion.
