Hogan Lovells advises Aerotec on acquisition of Mindtree Aerospace Repairing and Maintenance Aircraft LLC

Hogan Lovells advised Aerotec Europe Holding GmbH (Aerotec) on the acquisition of Dubai-based Mindtree Aerospace Repairing and Maintenance Aircraft LLC. The transaction involved the purchase of Mindtree, a specialist in the design, production, refurbishment and certification of aircraft cabin interiors. Terms and conditions of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition forms part of Aerotec’s strategic growth and expansion plan: Aerotec Europe GmbH and its subsidiary Airplane Equipment & Services A.E.S. GmbH were acquired by Borromin Capital Fund IV in September 2022 to support organic growth and add-on acquisitions. In June 2024 Aerotec completed its first MRO add-on by acquiring aviationscouts, a leading aircraft interior aftermarket business with a focus on refurbished seats. The addition of Mindtree marks another significant step in Aerotec’s MRO and interiors strategy. “We are delighted to have supported Aerotec once again in the implementation of its strategic expansion plans.
