Datasharp, the European data intelligence group backed by Strada Partners, has acquired Woosmap in a strategic transaction that supports Datasharp’s accelerated growth and its objective to build a reliable enterprise data infrastructure for artificial intelligence applications. Founded in Montpellier, Woosmap is a leading European provider of geolocation technologies, offering high-performance APIs for search and autocomplete, geocoding, vector map rendering, routing, geofencing and location context. Woosmap’s solutions are deployed by major groups including Auchan, Carrefour, Leroy Merlin, Etam, Yves Rocher, Hubo, Wecasa and Holland & Barrett. The integration of Woosmap strengthens Datasharp’s positioning at the intersection of data intelligence and geolocation. The combined platform will link identity data, attributes and geographic context to serve AI use cases across logistics, retail, mobility, fraud prevention and real-time decision-making. For Strada Partners, the acquisition illustrates its sector-focused investment strategy to develop European leaders in data, software and technology services.
