CMS Switzerland advised Corvaglia Holding AG on the sale of Corvaglia Closures Eschlikon AG to Wisecap, with Wisecap as the acquiring counterparty. The Corvaglia Group, founded in 1991 and headquartered in Eschlikon, Switzerland, is a globally recognised provider of innovative closure solutions for plastic packaging, in particular plastic closures for the food and beverage industry. Wisecap, founded in 1977 and based in Piacenza, Italy, operates six production plants across Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland and Egypt. The transaction comprises the sale of Corvaglia Closures Eschlikon AG and the integration of its manufacturing activities into Wisecap's European production network, together with a minority investment by Corvaglia Holding AG into Wisecap.
