Dentons advised SMAC and Mr. Khaled Al Mogbel, the shareholders of Awazil Al Khaleej Industrial Co. (Gulf Seal), on the sale of 100% of Gulf Seal to Sika. The transaction, announced on December 4, 2025, transfers full ownership of Gulf Seal, a Riyadh-based manufacturer of bituminous waterproofing membranes established more than 20 years ago, to Sika. Sika is a specialty chemicals company with a globally leading position in the development and production of systems and products for the building industry. The deal is described as a significant milestone in Saudi Arabia's manufacturing market.
