White & Case, Hillbridges and Clifford Chance Advise on Slovenske Elektrarne EUR 2 Billion EMTN Program and EUR 750 Million Green Bond Issuance

White & Case and Hillbridges advised Slovenske Elektrarne on the establishment of a EUR 2 billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme and the EUR 750 million inaugural green bond issued under that programme. Clifford Chance advised BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank in their roles as arrangers, dealers and bookrunners. The transaction comprised the launch of Slovenske Elektrarne’s EUR 2 billion EMTN programme and the issuance of EUR 750 million of debut green bonds under the programme. The bonds carry a coupon of 3.875% and mature in 2032. The issue was more than six times oversubscribed, with investor demand exceeding EUR 4.8 billion, and the notes have been admitted to trading on the regulated market of Euronext Dublin. BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, Societe Generale and UniCredit Bank acted as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners for the transaction.
