CMS Advises FF Group on Acquisition by Axis Communications

Law firm CMS advised FF Group on its sale to Axis Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon Inc. The transaction will see Axis Communications acquire FF Group, an edge AI and data analytics specialist serving the transportation and security markets in more than 30 countries. The acquisition is intended to leverage FF Group’s advanced analytics capabilities in the transport industry and provide Axis with an enhanced toolbox to develop and expand in the growing market for traffic solutions. CMS advised on all legal aspects relating to the sale, demonstrating the firm’s sector expertise and multi-jurisdictional strength. Experts from multiple CMS offices worked together to deliver pragmatic cross-border corporate, regulatory and technology advice. CMS said its integrated approach enabled efficient execution of a complex and fast-paced M&A transaction.
