Stibbe advised Seven2 on the acquisition of a majority stake in Zwart Techniek. Seven2, a leading European private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Zwart Techniek, an integrator of mission-critical energy systems. Zwart Techniek is based in IJmuiden and operates sites in Houten and Frankfurt; the company serves data centres, vital and public infrastructure, and energy-critical industries across Europe. This acquisition constitutes the twelfth investment of Seven2's MidMarket X fund and marks the firm's fifth investment in the Netherlands since 2018. The transaction reaffirms Seven2's commitment to the Benelux region, strengthens its position in the energy sector and expands its presence across Europe.
