GÖRG Advises DRS Investment SE on Acquisition Financing for Purchase of Aurena GmbH

GÖRG and Greenlake Legal advised DRS Investment SE on the acquisition financing for the purchase of Aurena GmbH. The transaction involves DRS Investment SE, a private investment company focused on software and technology-based service companies, acquiring a majority stake in Aurena GmbH. Founded in 2012 and based in Styria, Aurena is Austria's leading auction service provider for large-volume asset liquidations, operating an online platform that auctions used goods from insolvencies, business closures, estates and clearance sales. The company currently employs more than 180 people. As part of the acquisition, DRS will become the new majority owner while Aurena founder Karl Kühberger will remain as a minority shareholder and managing director. DRS intends to accelerate Aurena's growth and drive expansion in Germany, pursuing both organic growth and complementary acquisitions as part of a buy-and-build strategy.
