Homburger Advises UniCredit Bank on USD 1.1 Billion Credit Facility for Neumann Gruppe

"Homburger acted as special Swiss counsel to UniCredit Bank on its role as mandated lead arranger for a USD 1.1 billion borrowing base credit facility to Neumann Gruppe, the holding company of Neumann Kaffee Group. The syndicated financing, arranged by UniCredit and ING as joint bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers, includes an increase option to USD 1.4 billion and involved a broad international syndicate."

Homburger served as special Swiss counsel to UniCredit Bank in connection with UniCredit's role as mandated lead arranger for the USD 1.1 billion borrowing base credit facilities granted to Neumann Gruppe, the holding company of globally active coffee wholesaler Neumann Kaffee Group. The syndicated facility provides USD 1.1 billion in borrowing base credit and includes an increase option to reach USD 1.4 billion. UniCredit and ING acted as joint bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers in the transaction. The syndicate also comprised sixteen other international banks, including Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, DZ Bank, Helaba, HSBC, LBBW, MUFG, NordLB and Rabobank. Homburger represented UniCredit Bank with a team composed by: Daniel Haeberli (financing), who led the Homburger team, together with Simone Gloor (financing), Céline Rüegg (financing) and Stefan Oesterhelt (tax).
