Kellerhals Carrard advises Gravis Robotics on USD 23 million financing round

"Kellerhals Carrard advised Zurich-based construction-tech company Gravis Robotics on a USD 23 million financing round co-led by IQ Capital and Zacua Ventures, with participation from Pear VC, Imad Ventures, Sunna Ventures, Armada Investment and Holcim. Gravis develops a retrofit platform enabling autonomous or remotely guided operation of excavators and earthmoving machines via its Slate tablet."

Kellerhals Carrard advised Gravis Robotics, a Zurich-based construction-tech company, on its USD 23 million financing round. The financing round was co-led by IQ Capital and Zacua Ventures, with further participation from Pear VC, Imad Ventures, Sunna Ventures, Armada Investment and Holcim. Gravis Robotics, founded in 2022 at ETH Zurich, secured the capital to advance its technology and commercial deployment. Gravis’ retrofit platform equips existing excavators, loaders and other earthmoving machines with advanced sensors, cameras and AI-driven perception, enabling autonomous or remotely guided operation through the company’s Slate tablet. Kellerhals Carrard represented Gravis Robotics with a team composed by: Partner Dario Silberschmidt (corporate and venture capital practice); Associate Marine Jorio (corporate and venture capital practice); Paralegal Danica Hafner (corporate and venture capital practice).
