LCA Advises Smy Hotels on Acquisition of Tower Plaza in Pisa

LCA Studio Legale advised buyer Smy Hotels in the acquisition of the Tower Plaza in Pisa, while the seller, San Rossore Touring, was represented by lawyer Federico Tumbiolo. The transaction, valued at more than €15 million, concerns the five‑star Tower Plaza, one of Tuscany’s most prestigious hotels. The property comprises 128 rooms, a congress centre, a restaurant, a spa and a privileged view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The acquisition marks a further step in Smy Hotels’ growth strategy in Italy and will add the asset to the group’s international portfolio, which spans six countries and specialises in city and leisure hospitality. The Tower Plaza will be subject to a programme of renovation and upgrading in the coming months, with reopening planned for spring and a repositioning aligned with Smy Hotels’ international standards.
