Clifford Chance Advises Parcom on Sale of 50% Stake in HEMA to van Eerd Family

Clifford Chance advised Dutch investment company Parcom on the sale of its 50% shareholding in HEMA to Mississippi Ventures, the investment vehicle of the van Eerd family and owner of Jumbo. The transaction transfers Parcom’s half stake in HEMA to the van Eerd family, which has been a co-owner alongside Parcom for approximately five years and will, following completion, obtain full ownership of the retailer. The proposed transaction is subject to customary conditions.
