CapMan Growth Invests in Finnish Restaurant Chain Factory

Castrén & Snellman advised CapMan Growth on its investment in the restaurant chain Factory; industry veteran Aku Vikström joins as a co-investor and will become a member of Factory’s board. The transaction comprises a significant equity investment by CapMan Growth in Factory to support the company’s ambitious expansion plan. The investment is intended to fund Factory’s nationwide growth and to strengthen its presence in shopping centres. Factory is a Finnish restaurant chain specialising in high-quality homemade meals. In addition to buffet offerings, Factory provides catering services for meetings and events. All dishes are prepared in the company’s own restaurant kitchens by each restaurant’s chefs, and the menu focuses on diverse, high-quality home cooking. The company currently operates 22 restaurants in Southern Finland and employs around 200 people.
