Balder Finland acquires Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa in Turku

Waselius & Wist advised Balder Finland, the buyer, in the acquisition of the property housing Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa in Turku from Rausanne Oy, the seller. The transaction concerns the property accommodating Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa, a hotel with 196 rooms and approximately 8,000 m² of space. The acquisition represents Balder Finland’s second hotel property investment in Finland this year and materially strengthens Balder’s growing portfolio in the country. Waselius & Wist provided comprehensive legal advice throughout the transaction, including due diligence, negotiation of transaction documentation and closing arrangements.
