Matouk Bassiouny advised the shareholders of InfiniLink in connection with the company’s full acquisition by GlobalFoundries. The transaction involved the sale of InfiniLink, a Delaware‑Cairo‑based silicon‑photonics startup specialising in high‑performance optical transceiver chiplets. Under the terms of the deal, GlobalFoundries’ silicon‑photonics business will integrate InfiniLink’s design expertise and portfolio of optical transceiver chiplets (iOTC), together with its silicon‑photonics capabilities and SerDes technologies. Matouk Bassiouny represented the shareholders of InfiniLink with a team composed by: Partner Mohamed Essam; Senior Associate Moustafa Rizk; and Associate Ahmed Hatem.
