BonelliErede and Legance in Elevion Group's acquisition of Maserati Energia

"BonelliErede advised Elevion Group in the acquisition of a majority stake in Maserati Energia and its compostable urban waste treatment plant, including a biometane upgrading unit with 500 Sm³/h capacity. Legance advised the Maserati Group, which will remain a minority shareholder. The transaction covered due diligence, closing and ancillary contractual documentation."

BonelliErede advised Elevion Group, and Legance advised the Maserati Group, in connection with Elevion Group’s acquisition of Maserati Energia. The transaction comprised the purchase by Elevion Group of a majority stake in Maserati Energia and the acquisition of its compostable urban waste treatment plant, which includes an upgrading section for the production of biomethane with a production capacity of 500 Sm³/h. The deal was structured as the transfer of the majority of the company’s share capital from the Maserati Group, which, active in the waste treatment sector for 40 years, will remain in Maserati Energia as a minority shareholder. The legal assistance covered the entire operation, from the due diligence phase to completion of the acquisition, and included the negotiation and drafting of ancillary contractual documentation.
