The transaction supports the development near Dimitrovgrad comprising a 65.15 MWDC photovoltaic plant together with a 130 MWh battery energy storage system. The EUR 54 million financing package marks a significant milestone in advancing Bulgaria’s energy infrastructure and accelerating the transition to clean power. CMS Sofia delivered end-to-end legal support for the transaction, including comprehensive legal due diligence; structuring and negotiation of financing documentation; guidance through signing and financial close; and drafting and review of key project agreements.
