Norton Rose Fulbright Advises ABN AMRO on US$1.2 Billion Financing for FLNG Gimi

Norton Rose Fulbright and Wikborg Rein participated in the transaction: Norton Rose Fulbright acted for ABN AMRO as documentation bank on behalf of a syndicate of international lenders, and Wikborg Rein represented the borrower, subsidiaries of Golar LNG Limited. The transaction comprised a US$1.2 billion asset-backed debt facility to refinance FLNG Gimi, which is operated by subsidiaries of Golar LNG Limited. The new facility replaces an existing US$627 million facility and was provided with participation from ABN AMRO, Citibank, DNB, Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered Bank. The facility features a seven-year tenor, a 16-year amortisation schedule and bears interest at SOFR plus a 2.5 percent margin per annum.
