Goodwin advised investor Expansion Ventures in connection with the €21 million Series A financing of Hybrid Propulsion for Space (HyPrSpace). The financing round, which raised €21 million in Series A funding, was led by Red River West and by the DeepTech 2030 fund managed by Bpifrance on behalf of the State as part of France 2030. The round also brought together the funds of Expansion Ventures, SPI, French Tech Seed and NACO. Founded in 2020, HyPrSpace aims to accelerate the development and industrialisation of its patented hybrid propulsion technology and to become the world leader in this field, making access to space more economical and reinforcing France's strategic autonomy and European space sovereignty. Goodwin represented Expansion Ventures with a team composed by: Anne Charlotte Rivière (partner, corporate), Johann Gandilhon (associate, corporate) and Valentine Nuaud (associate, corporate).
