A&O Shearman Advises Iberdrola France in Exclusive Negotiations to Sell Onshore Portfolio in France

"A&O Shearman advised Iberdrola France in exclusive negotiations to sell its French onshore portfolio to Technique Solaire, which was advised by Watson Farley & Williams. The assets comprise 118 MW of operational onshore wind and a 639 MW development pipeline of onshore wind and solar; the transaction is subject to employee consultation. Iberdrola retains its offshore activities including the 496 MW Saint-Brieuc project."

A&O Shearman advised Iberdrola France, while Watson Farley & Williams advised Technique Solaire. Iberdrola France entered into exclusive negotiations with the French renewables group Technique Solaire for the sale of its onshore portfolio in France. The assets concerned comprise 118 MW of operational onshore wind capacity and a development portfolio of 639 MW combining onshore wind and photovoltaic projects. The completion of the transaction remains subject to prior consultation with the relevant employee representative bodies. Iberdrola France confirmed its continued commitment to operations in France through the pursuit of its offshore activities, notably the 496 MW Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm.
