Gide Advises Wafra Inc. on Minority Investment in Ardian

Gide advised Wafra Inc., the New York manager of the State of Kuwait’s sovereign wealth fund, in connection with its minority investment in Ardian. Sidley Austin LLP and Elvinger Hoss Prussent also advised Wafra Inc., while Linklaters LLP advised Ardian. The transaction involved a minority equity investment by Wafra Inc. in Ardian, one of the world’s leading private investment firms, which manages $192 billion in assets. The investment was made under Wafra’s Strategic Partnerships programme and is intended to support Ardian’s continued growth across its diversified private markets platform.
