Gianni & Origoni advised Bio‑Medical Science Co. Ltd. in the transaction, OMH advised the sellers, and Studio Notarile De Martinis & Partners handled the notarial aspects. The transaction saw Bio‑Medical Science Co. Ltd., a South Korean multinational active in the production and commercialisation of products and instruments for research and diagnostics in the biotechnology sector, acquire a majority shareholding in Optika. The agreement provides that Bio‑Medical Science will acquire the remaining shareholding by 2027. Optika is specialised in the manufacture of scientific instruments and equipment, including optical devices destined for professional, industrial, amateur and educational use. Gianni & Origoni represented Bio‑Medical Science Co.
