Stibbe advised Ardian and worked alongside lead counsel Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP on the closing of Ardian’s strategic investment in the Diot‑Siaci Group. The transaction saw Ardian acquire the shareholdings previously held by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Bpifrance, Cathay Capital and other minority shareholders. Following the closing, Ardian becomes Diot‑Siaci’s lead financial shareholder alongside the Burrus Group and the company’s management team. The new shareholding structure, with Ardian and the Burrus Group as principal investors, initiates a new growth phase for Diot‑Siaci. The investment is intended to reinforce the group’s global capabilities and to strengthen its position among the world’s leading corporate insurance brokerage providers. The management team also made a significant reinvestment in the company’s capital as part of the transaction, signalling strong confidence in Diot‑Siaci’s long‑term strategic direction.
