KPMG Abogados Advises Ipcom on Acquisition of the Fanair Group

"KPMG Abogados advised Belgian distributor Ipcom on the tax due diligence for its acquisition of Madrid-based Fanair. Following completion, Fanair will be integrated into Ipcom’s Isopartner unit to strengthen the group’s presence in southern Europe. Fanair operates from four sites, has c.€40m turnover and 90 employees."

KPMG Abogados advised Ipcom, the Belgian distributor specialising in thermal insulation and building solutions, on the acquisition of Madrid-based Fanair and on the tax due diligence carried out in connection with the transaction. The transaction provides for the integration of Fanair into Ipcom’s Isopartner business unit following closing. The integration is intended to strengthen the Belgian group’s presence in southern Europe. Fanair operates from four locations: two warehouses and a duct manufacturing plant in Madrid, and a point of sale in Bilbao. The Spanish company reports an annual turnover of approximately €40 million and employs around 90 people.
