Addleshaw Goddard advises ING Bank Śląski on acquisition of remaining stake in Goldman Sachs TFI

"Addleshaw Goddard advised ING Bank Śląski S.A. on acquiring the remaining 55% of Goldman Sachs TFI from Goldman Sachs. The transaction is valued at PLN 396m (approx. €93m) and is expected to close in H1 2026 subject to regulatory approvals. Goldman Sachs TFI manages PLN 48bn in assets."

Addleshaw Goddard advised ING Bank Śląski S.A. in its agreement to acquire the remaining 55% stake in Goldman Sachs TFI from Goldman Sachs. The transaction will result in ING Bank Śląski holding 100% of Goldman Sachs TFI. ING Bank Śląski had previously acquired a 45% stake in 2019 via its subsidiary ING Investment Holding. The acquisition is valued at PLN 396 million (approximately €93 million) and is expected to complete in the first half of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Goldman Sachs TFI is a significant participant in the Polish asset management market, with assets under management totalling PLN 48 billion. ING Bank Śląski is one of Poland's largest banks, serving more than five million retail and corporate clients through digital channels and a nationwide branch network. The transaction is intended to strengthen ING Bank Śląski’s position in the investment and retirement markets and to enable the bank to offer a comprehensive range of solutions under the ING brand, from deposits to investment products.
