Sayenko Kharenko Advises EBRD on EUR 11 Million Secured Financing for New Karpaty Mineral Waters Plant in Ukraine

"Sayenko Kharenko advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on a EUR 11 million secured long-term loan to Karpaty Mineral Waters (KMW) to fund a greenfield beverage production facility in Lviv. The plant will nearly double KMW’s mineral water and soft drinks capacity, improve resource efficiency and is expected to avoid about 2,477 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year."

Sayenko Kharenko advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on a EUR 11 million secured long-term loan to Karpaty Mineral Waters (KMW). The financing supports the construction and commissioning of a new greenfield beverage production facility in the Lviv region. The new plant is expected to nearly double KMW’s production capacity for mineral water and soft drinks, addressing growing domestic demand and contributing to food and beverage security in war-affected regions. The facility will incorporate equipment designed to improve resource efficiency and reduce emissions; it is projected to avoid approximately 2,477 tonnes of CO2 annually. Sayenko Kharenko represented the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Karpaty Mineral Waters with a team composed by: Partner Igor Lozenko, Senior Associates Vladyslava Mitsai and Oles Trachuk, Associate Yevgen Koval, and Junior Associate Artem Medvetskyi.
