Dentons Adds Samantha Peters as Of Counsel in Portland, Maine

Dentons represented itself in welcoming Samantha Peters as of counsel in the firm’s Portland, Maine office, assisting Peters in joining Dentons’ litigation practice effective November 26, 2025. The appointment brings a litigator with extensive experience in products liability, mass-tort and toxic-tort matters to Dentons’ growing New England practice. Peters will focus on defending high-stakes cases involving medical devices, pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter drugs and consumer products, and will handle complex commercial litigation matters including contract disputes, enforcement of restrictive covenants, antitrust issues, construction claims and cryptocurrency-related disputes. She will represent clients in both state and federal courts throughout New England and beyond and will work closely with clients to align legal strategies with business objectives and to mitigate risk. Dentons noted that Peters’ experience enhances the firm’s commercial litigation and products liability capabilities in Maine and across multiple jurisdictions. Partner Melissa Norman Bork, co-leader of Dentons’ US Region Commercial Litigation practice, said Peters’ background bolsters the firm’s growing practice in Maine and is a valuable addition as the firm assists clients with litigation across jurisdictions.
