KWM Advises Brisbane Airport on €500 Million Secured Bond Issuance under Updated €1.5 Billion EMTN Programme

"King & Wood Mallesons advised Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Limited on the update of its €1.5 billion Secured EMTN Programme and the subsequent €500 million 3.856% secured notes due 2035. Proceeds will refinance existing indebtedness and/or fund general corporate purposes, including infrastructure and terminal upgrades to improve services and the passenger experience."

King & Wood Mallesons acted as English law counsel to Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Limited. The firm advised on the update of Brisbane Airport’s €1.5 billion Secured Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme and on the subsequent issue of €500 million 3.856 per cent secured notes due 2035. The proceeds of the issuance will be applied by Brisbane Airport to refinance existing indebtedness and/or for general corporate purposes, including supporting ongoing infrastructure investments such as terminal upgrades to deliver improved services, new facilities and an enhanced passenger experience.
