A&O Shearman represented Iberdrola France in exclusive negotiations with French renewable energy group Technique Solaire regarding the sale of Iberdrola France's French onshore portfolio. The transaction covers the disposal of 118 MW of operational wind capacity together with a development pipeline totalling 639 MW of onshore wind and solar PV. The parties have entered into exclusive negotiations to progress the proposed transfer of these assets. The entire transaction remains conditional on completion of the information-consultation processes with the relevant staff representative bodies. Iberdrola France has stated it remains committed to the French market, notably through its offshore wind activities, including the 496 MW Saint Brieuc offshore wind farm.
