FLH advised Novakem Indústria Química, and Mundie Advogados advised Oriental Yuhong, in a cross-border equity transaction. The transaction concerns the sale by Novakem Indústria Química, a leading Brazilian company specialising in high-performance chemical additives for concrete and cement, of a significant equity stake to Oriental Yuhong, a major Chinese conglomerate listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and one of the world’s largest players in construction chemicals and waterproofing materials. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary conditions precedent and to the required legal and regulatory approvals.
