Baker McKenzie Advises Shareholders, Including ARCHIMED-Advised Funds, on Sale of Citieffe Group to PolyMed

Baker McKenzie advised the current shareholders of Citieffe Group, including funds advised by ARCHIMED, on the sale of their equity interests to Poly Medicure B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Poly Medicure Limited (PolyMed). The firm advised on the sale of all equity interests in Medistream SA, a Swiss corporation that held all equity interests in Citieffe SRL, an Italian medical devices manufacturer, and its subsidiaries in the United States and Mexico (together, the Citieffe Group), to Poly Medicure B.V., Amsterdam. Funds advised by ARCHIMED, a global private equity firm focused on healthcare, were the majority shareholders in Citieffe Group. The Citieffe Group is an Italy-based manufacturer specialising in orthopedic trauma and extremities, with a direct presence in Italy, the United States and Mexico and distribution across 25 countries. The acquisition gives PolyMed a gateway into the global orthopedics market, particularly the trauma and extremities segment, and is expected to enhance R&D and manufacturing capabilities and deliver potential cost efficiencies through operations in India. The transaction completed on 6 November 2025.
